presidential election

In my country, a presidential election will be held. Banners were written about the candidate's vision and mission which can be found everywhere. That is no problem if its not distrubing the other people. But in reality there are too many banners. I don't know if there is a regulation about where to put banners. Now social media is becoming a place to campaign. News floods my timeline but it's hard to differentiate what is a fact or a lie. I think not only in social media, but also on television's, the news makes statements are not neutral. Do other country face similar problems with presidential elections?
